NENI Centrum
The Molcho family's second Amsterdam NENI brings Eastern Mediterranean sharing plates into the Kimpton De Witt in the city centre, serving breakfast through dinner at long tables where hotel guests and locals mix.
The story
Haya Molcho named NENI after the initials of her four sons, Nuriel, Elior, Nadiv and Ilan, and the cooking draws on the family's Levant, Romanian and Spanish roots. The guiding idea is balagan, a sympathetic chaos of shared dishes. This branch opened on 1 September as the family's second in Amsterdam, joining the original at Stadionplein in a former Citroën garage. The studio Concrete designed the room to merge the hotel's playful Dutch character with NENI's warm Eastern Mediterranean spirit. Long tables and generous plates set the tone. The day runs from breakfast to weekday lunch, weekend brunch and dinner every evening, with a bar for drinks. Plates include melanzane, a Levant chicken plate, wagyu kebab and grilled dorade, alongside orange wines. Private dining spaces host events, and a Balagan box of mezze, mains and desserts is available for takeaway.
