Laa Montre Collection Hotels & Resorts has opened a courtyard-style hotel on the Kharagpur Bypass in Khatranga, West Bengal. It has been running since 24 September 2026. The idea is simple: rooms, dining, wellness and leisure under one roof, aimed at families, couples, business travellers and anyone planning a celebration.

The detail you would notice first is in the courtyard: a handmade terracotta artwork of Lord Nataraj covering almost 600 sq ft, which the hotel describes as one of the largest installations of its kind. Around it sit 78 rooms in four categories. Deluxe rooms look out over farmland, Premium rooms face the courtyard, and suites add a bathtub and a separate sitting area. There is also an outdoor pool, a spa with a sauna, a gym, a landscaped garden and a terrace.

Food and drink are spread across four spaces: Bhoomi, a multi-cuisine restaurant; Tap, a bar; Laamon, a café; and Glass House, a lounge. There are two banquet halls too. General manager Samrat Chakraborty describes it as comfort and leisure "in one place".

This comes from a press release, so the details are the hotel's own. It looks like a practical base in Kharagpur, and the terracotta courtyard is the reason to stop and look. Check rates and room views directly when you book.
