The story

The complex covers 2.2 million square feet, with seven contiguous exhibit halls totalling 574,000 square feet, a 28,000-square-foot ballroom and about 95 meeting rooms. The Dome, a 67,000-seat domed stadium, switches between exhibition hall, sports arena and concert venue, while the Ferrara Theatre seats around 1,400 for lectures and concerts. Recent renovations added a 72,000-square-foot exhibit hall and a 40-bed culinary garden that grows herbs and produce for the on-site catering run by Levy Restaurants. The calendar ranges from the VEX Robotics World Championship and the Seventh-day Adventist General Conference to volleyball tournaments, the Transworld Halloween Attraction Show, Monster Jam and stadium concerts. The complex sits in the downtown entertainment district, within walking distance of the Arch, the baseball stadium, hotels and restaurants.
