Delano London, a 67-room hotel overlooking Hyde Park, opens 2027
The Miami-born brand comes to London with a suite-heavy hotel, a Rose Bar, Mediterranean dining and a members' club.
Delano, the name long tied to Miami Beach and since stretched to Dubai and Paris, is heading to London. Its new hotel sits among the Victorian mansions and embassies facing Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, and is due to open in early 2027. Chief brand officer Ben Pundole, a Londoner, says the brand has always been about "creating a feeling", and pictures a place where you might fall into conversation with a stranger at the bar.
There are 67 rooms over five floors, and more than half are suites, many with walk-in wardrobes and private terraces; 14 look straight out over the park. Archer Humphryes Architects have gone for residential interiors with small theatrical touches, and the art consultancy Cramer & Bell has gathered British and international work, including pieces by Kimathi Mafafo, Hormazd Narielwalla and Gergei Erdei.
Downstairs, Paris Society brings Lana Lusa to London for the first time, a warm Mediterranean restaurant designed by Pirajean Lees. Rose Bar nods to its Miami Beach original, with a lounge and a Zodiac Room for late nights. The Source by Delano covers wellness, with contrast therapy and visiting practitioners, and there's a members' club too.
This is a first look ahead of opening, so nothing to book just yet. Worth watching if you like a park view with your late night.
