Twenty First Gallery

Mirrors, consoles, lamps and vessels shown as collectible design fill this Franklin Street gallery, which presents work by contemporary makers such as Marcin Rusak, Erwan Boulloud and Valentin Loellmann.

The story

Twenty First describes its focus as collectible design of the century: furniture, lighting and objects chosen for being meaningful, timeless and masterfully crafted. Recent pieces include Erwan Boulloud's Nazca Credenza, Eric Schmitt's Entrelacs Console, Marcin Rusak's Flora Herbarium in clear amber, Géraldine Cornette de Saint Cyr's Tellus Floor Lamp, mirrors by François Corbeau and a blue vessel by Alice Gavalet. The roster also takes in Emmanuel Babled, Alexandra Mocanu, RoWin'Atelier, Jean-Marie Fiori and Emmée Parizot, along with Conie Vallese, who moves between sculpture, ceramics, glass, textiles, furniture and decorative objects in bronze. Beyond its own space, the gallery shows at Salon Art + Design at the Park Avenue Armory, and visits to Franklin Street can be arranged by appointment.
