andBeyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp
A nine-tent &Beyond camp deep in the Okavango Delta, where each spacious tent has its own plunge pool overlooking the water and elephants sometimes stop by to drink from it.
The story
Xaranna is one of two &Beyond camps in the Okavango Delta, a small tented lodge of nine rooms set in the wild. The tents are large, with an extra-king bed, an indoor shower and bath, a lounge area, an outdoor shower and a private plunge pool on a deck facing the delta. At night only canvas and netting separate guests from the bush, so hyenas calling or elephants wandering through camp are part of the stay. Days revolve around game drives with guide-and-tracker teams, mostly from Botswana, who are skilled at finding leopards and the Big Five. Mokoro canoe trips, boat outings and guided walks add variety. Meals are refined and adapted to individual needs, with extras such as massages, private dinners and dinner in the bush. A Wild Child programme caters to younger guests.
