Pavyllon London is ending its Counter Culture series with a one-night service that brings Jason Atherton into the kitchen with Yannick Alléno. The collaboration has been running through 2026 at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, and this final edition is set for 26 October. The draw here is less a guest slot than a meeting of two very different restaurant minds: Alléno’s French technique alongside Atherton’s British fine-dining approach, with both chefs leaning into the flavours and ingredients of Asia.

The six-course menu is built around dishes from each side of that conversation. Supper highlights Alléno’s king crab leg with farmhouse cream and nori broth, and Atherton’s A5 Kagoshima Wagyu beef with preserved truffle sauce. The setting matters too: Pavyllon London’s long open counter runs the length of the room, so diners are seated close to the action and can watch both chefs cooking in full view.

It is a specific date rather than a new opening, and the piece gives no booking details beyond the event itself. Still, if you like restaurants where the room has as much theatre as the plate, this is the sort of dinner worth checking while there is still a seat.
