The first Michelin Guide Southwest is out, and The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas has plenty to celebrate. Four of its restaurants made the guide: Bouchon by Thomas Keller, Simon Kim's Cote Korean Steakhouse, Estiatorio Milos and Mott 32. According to the resort, that's more Michelin-recognised restaurants than any other resort in Las Vegas.

Julian Griffiths, who leads food and beverage at The Venetian, called it a tribute to the talent and creativity of its restaurant partners and to the range of its dining.

The timing fits. The resort is completing a $1.5 billion reinvestment that has touched its suites, entertainment, nightlife and wellness, but above all its food. In a single year it has added 12 new food and drink concepts, from first-in-the-city stalls at the casual Via Via Food Hall to big-name destinations such as José Andrés's Bazaar Meat.

It's also running Culinary Crossroads, a series of pop-up dinners through 2026. They include a tasting at CUT where Wolfgang Puck shares the kitchen with his son, Byron Lazaroff-Puck; 'Spain My Way' with José Andrés; and a pop-up of the Bib Gourmand-listed fried chicken spot COQODAQ at Cote.

If you're heading to Vegas and want to eat well without leaving the building, this is a good place to start.
