Salotto Orsini

Part restaurant, part cocktail bar and home to Pence1979's first boutique, Salotto Orsini is an intimate Brera salon with chef Gaia Giordano's Italian cooking and tables on a quiet street.

The story

Set in Milan's bohemian Brera district, Salotto Orsini is built as an intimate city salon, aiming for discreet elegance, easy conviviality and a contemporary take on Italian style. Chef Gaia Giordano signs the menu, which pairs technique with Italian cooking. Gnocchi alla Romana, meatballs and lasagne stand out, alongside lighter plates such as hummus with bread or vegetables with an olive oil and salt dip. The drinks list runs from great classics to signature cocktails, with a considered wine selection and spritzes for an aperitivo. A newer arrival on a quiet street away from the busier eating strips, it sets tables outside for al fresco meals. Pence1979 chose the space for its first boutique, where a dedicated team walks guests through the label's latest pieces while they sip a cocktail.
