The story

L'Amo is the Singapore outpost of an Italian restaurant also found in Dubai, built around coastal flavours and fresh seafood. Chef Daniele, a familiar name on Singapore's dining scene, is behind the kitchen, where a seafood display lets you choose a fish or shellfish to be cooked as you like. Boston lobster pasta is the signature, alongside Josper-grilled octopus, gamberoni and tagliatelle alla puttanesca. Lunch might open with kingfish crudo and marinated strawberries, followed by tagliolini al limone with caviar or a pizza with a notably crunchy crust. The dining room is elegant and cosy, with an outdoor area and live music from a grand piano in the evening. The cocktail and wine list is strong, and tiramisu is assembled tableside in portions big enough to share.
