Bar Convent Berlin is marking its 20th anniversary this year with a programme that looks both backwards and forwards. The big shift is a newly designed education line-up built around three strands — Heads, Hearts and Tails — with more emphasis on discussion, exchange and practical know-how than a standard stage-and-audience setup.

At the centre is the new Embassy Stage, designed to bring speakers and visitors into closer contact, with the neighbouring Embassy Bar run this year by Foco from Barcelona. There is also Memory Lane, an anniversary area combining an interactive exhibition and a bar. It is set up as a walk through two decades of BCB and bar culture, with drinks chosen to reflect different moments in recent cocktail history.

Across the wider programme, sessions range from neurodiversity in hospitality teams and everyday conflict in bars to Japanese tradition in modern cocktails and how to photograph drinks well on a smartphone. Park Street University adds business-focused talks, while BCB Tastings will dive into white rum, tequila and whiskey. Round Table sessions in the BCB Lounge are aimed at industry leaders, experts and media.

BCB runs from 12–14 October 2026 at Exhibition Centre Berlin, and the ticket shop is already open. Best for people who work in drinks or like seeing where bar culture is heading next.
