Crowne Plaza has opened a 250-room hotel in Magny-le-Hongre, in Marne-la-Vallée, about 40 minutes from central Paris. It sits on 2.5 hectares of landscaped grounds, and most rooms and suites look out over Golf Paris Val d'Europe and its three nine-hole courses.

The idea is balance: a hotel that works for a family trip to the nearby theme parks, a shopping day at La Vallée Village or a conference. There are three places to eat and drink. La Clairière serves Mediterranean-inspired food; L'Orangerie, overlooking the terrace and gardens, handles breakfast and private events; and Mystic Bar moves from healthy breakfasts to after-work cocktails. For downtime there's an indoor heated pool, a spa, a gym and a yoga and Pilates studio, plus walking trails, bike hire and play areas for children.

The renovation used recycled materials in details like headboards and carpets. More is on the way: padel courts, an outdoor gym, pétanque and cinema experiences later this year, then an outdoor pool and bar in spring 2027.

A free shuttle reaches Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station and the parks in under ten minutes. The source is an IHG press release, so the tone is the brand's own, but the practical details make a stay easy to picture.
