Treehouse Manchester heads for the rooftop
A new restaurant, two bars and nine suites for a hotel that's barely a year old.
Treehouse Hotel Manchester only opened in 2025, and it's already growing upward. Starwood Hotels, which owns and runs the Treehouse brand, is adding a rooftop restaurant, bar and lounge across the 14th and 15th floors, along with nine new suites a few floors below.
The headline act is Sister Moon, a restaurant that brings British and Southeast Asian cooking together, created by chef Sam Grainger with Luke Cowdrey and Justin Crawford. Beside it sit The Nest, a cocktail bar, and The Hideout, a speakeasy-style lounge: three good reasons to stay up past sunset. The new suites on the 11th and 12th floors include presidential suites and interconnecting rooms for families and groups. Creative studio House of Black worked with Starwood's own designers on the interiors.
There's more at ground level too. Guests get access to the padel courts at The Pollen Club next door, and The Good Sauna Co has designed an outdoor sauna for the hotel. Add Mary-Ellen McTague's all-day dining, a 43-seat screening room and a gym, and you can see why founder Barry Sternlicht pictures it as somewhere to lose track of the day.
The article doesn't give a date for the rooftop, so check before planning a visit around it.
