A mountain lodge for every season in Park City
Outbound Hotels brings its outdoorsy style to Utah next spring.
Outbound Hotels, the outdoorsy lifestyle brand behind lodges in Jackson Hole, Mammoth Lakes, Stowe and Sedona, is heading to Utah. Outbound Park City will welcome its first guests on 1 April 2027, with the Wasatch Mountains as its backdrop and reservations already open.
The 180-room property, designed by The Gettys Group, is built around spending time together. There's an all-day diner and a cocktail bar for easy meals and long conversations, plus two very different places to unwind. Indoors, a retreat gathers a pool, hot tub, cabanas and loungers under one roof; outside, a courtyard sets out fire pits, games and space for live music. Groups and weddings get 11,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.
Co-founder Matthew Mering calls Park City one of America's great four-season mountain towns, and the plan is clearly to give people a base for all of it: skiing in winter, time on the trails when the snow melts, and a fire to come back to either way. Outbound is owned by Waterton and run with CoralTree Hospitality, with another property on the way near Yosemite.
For now it's an announcement, not a finished hotel, but it's one to bookmark for next spring.
