The story
Murat moved to Athens about two years ago and opened The Domo Shop, which has since relocated to its current address in Kolonaki. The stock brings together furniture, lighting and distinctive design objects from international designers, mixing recognisable icons with more classic pieces meant to brighten a home. The space is carefully arranged and the selection lends itself to presents, from small gifts to something more substantial such as a wedding present. Staff are helpful and have a sharp eye for what works together. An online store is being prepared in Athens, and Da Capo, a café a couple of steps away, makes an easy stop for coffee after browsing.
