The story
Rooms are generously proportioned, with contemporary interiors drawn from Cape Town's creative spirit and coastal palette, plus custom Le Labo amenities made for EDITION. Suites take in Table Mountain and the city lights at night, while private balconies overlook the harbour, marina and superyachts of the historic waterfront. SHALE, the main restaurant, works with coastal fishers and local producers on seasonal, responsibly sourced dishes. The Lobby Bar serves specialty tea and coffee alongside aperitifs and light bites, and the Pool Terrace moves from healthy breakfasts and poolside lunches to sunset cocktails. EAVE Bar & Lounge pairs small plates and signature drinks with city-light views on a terrace by the pool. The Punch Room is an intimate speakeasy-style bar with limited seating and a beverage-first menu. A spa, fitness centre and outdoor pool round out the hotel.
