Tam Café
Vietnamese coffee, crisp bánh mì and an all-day Vietnamese brunch fill this bright café in the 9th, a short walk from Montmartre, with street food and sweets inspired by the streets of Hanoi.
The story
Tam Café is built around the idea of a Vietnamese pause in the middle of Paris. The coffee is intense and deep, made with specialty beans from Hanoï Corner, and the drinks list runs wide, from salted cream coffee to matcha and an avocado smoothie. Bánh mì come on bread sourced from a local baker, with pork and chicken fillings, and spring and summer rolls are made to order. Brunch is served all day, alongside street food such as bobun that can be eaten seated or on the move. Desserts lean Vietnamese too, with a pandan and coconut cookie and another made with black sesame. The room is spacious, light and calm enough to work in, and regulars can join the TAM Club loyalty scheme.
