The story

Partners Elli Gidakou and Sotiris Andritsos opened Santo Belto in August 2022, pairing a specialty coffee shop with Santo Belto Project, Sotiris's ceramics studio alongside. Handmade ceramic cups and fragrant sweets are all produced on site, and the shelves work as a small concept store stocked with carefully chosen wines, handmade candles and birthday cakes. Coffee is roasted by Novelty and sourced from small producers: Brazil on rotation, a Mexican decaf, a regular Ethiopian guest that also goes into the cold brew, and occasional Costa Rica. Elli belongs to the International Women's Coffee Alliance, and the shop hosts cupping events. The kitchen runs from breakfast and brunch through to lunch and dinner, with wine and cocktails later in the day.

Good to know

TAGGG AI
  • The carrot cake is a house favourite worth ordering alongside your coffee.
  • There is no sign outside, so look for the tree-shaded tables on the pedestrian street.
  • Weekend mornings get busy, so expect a short wait for a table and slower brunch orders.
