The story
Opened in 2025 within the Mandarina development, next door to the One&Only, the resort spreads its suites and villas across beach, flatland and mountain settings, many with private plunge pools. Beachfront studio suites open straight onto the sand, and the heart of the resort gathers four heated pools and a beach club. Polo and riding at the Polo & Equestrian Club, a Greg Norman-designed golf course, a jungle zipline and the Asaya Spa fill the days. La Cocina Mandarina is built around a traditional comal turning out handmade tortillas and hosts tortilla classes. Buena Onda is a small beach shack at the water's edge serving paella, tapas and grilled seafood with sangria. Barra Peñasco hangs above a secluded beach framed by ancient trees, while Toppu pairs Japanese technique with Mexican flavours on the mountaintop.
