Raffles The Red Sea
On the northwestern shore of Shura Island, this Raffles resort pairs lagoon and beachfront villas with Singapore-inspired dining, Red Sea diving and Saudi Arabia's first island golf course, within Foster & Partners' Coral Bloom masterplan.
The story
Raffles The Red Sea is due to open in 2026 as part of Coral Bloom, the regenerative masterplan by Foster & Partners for Saudi Arabia's first 'green' coral destination. Its 121 rooms, 14 suites and 33 pool villas each open onto a private terrace, many facing the lagoon or the beach. The design draws on Saudi heritage alongside the natural setting of sea and shore. By night, Siparaja nods to Raffles' Singaporean roots in a theatrical setting, with Indo-Malay flavours, flame-fired dishes and lagoon views. Ni'ma cooks Eastern Mediterranean food, El Nay is a pan-Arabic bar and shisha lounge, Anbara serves pastries by the water, and the Pool Bar keeps things relaxed for families. Beyond the spa, guests can go deep-sea diving, take family hikes or play golf at Shura Links.
