The story

Queen Bee works as an artisanal bakery first, and the pastry counter shows it: butter croissants, a pistachio croissant and a large croissant filled with cream and raspberry. Savoury baking runs to spanakopita with flaky layers and a hint of anise, alongside a local cake with a cheesecake-like texture. The coffee is Italian, served as lattes, Americanos, freddo cappuccino and iced matcha. Beyond the bakery, the menu is large, covering scrambled eggs and Greek kagianas, avocado toast with poached eggs, muesli, French toast, a smoked salmon and avocado bagel, and a burger with fries for anyone wanting lunch. There are fresh juices and plenty of healthy options. The simple, stylish room and outdoor seating on this Kolonaki corner suit a slow morning, and pets are welcome.
