The story
In a quiet, suburban corner of north Athens, Peek Out turns a new page every six months with a fresh concept; recent incarnations have included a cat theme and arcade games. Mornings start with coffee made from June's specialty blends, taken in the leafy garden or the cosy courtyard out back. Brunch brings an Italian open toast of toasted milk bread, garlic butter, ricotta and boiled eggs, or overnight oats with banana, cocoa and caramelised nuts. As evening comes, the kitchen moves to dishes for sharing or eating solo: crispy chicken breast bites, pork gyros tacos with tomato tartare, and a salmon rice bowl with edamame and broccolini. Signature cocktails and a wide drinks list take over the bar, with music and a lively, youthful crowd filling the room.
