Named after nido, the Spanish word for nest, this rooftop bar and pool at Denū Hotel & Spa looks over the downtown Phoenix skyline, with fire features and cocktails suited to watching the sun go down.
The story
Every evening the bar marks the Arizona sunset with a small ritual: a Himalayan singing bowl signals the end of the day, guests gather for a brief toast, and then the fire features are lit as the rooftop comes alive. The space is set up for gathering and unwinding above the city, with seating to share and spots around the fire. The cocktail list runs from the zesty 17th Floor Margarita and the tropical Nidos Nest to the floral Evening Bloom and the Desert Mirage, and there is food to go with them. Nidos also hosts private parties, pairing panoramic views with bespoke cocktails. Elsewhere in the same hotel are Sartén Kitchen & Bar and Blend Café, so the rooftop fits easily before or after dinner downtown.
