The story
Interior design duo Gilles & Boissier fully restored this Renaissance palazzo, pairing contemporary refinement with its historic architecture. The apartments range from a one-bedroom with frescoes to a three-bedroom duplex with its own terrace, alongside a piano nobile unit and others with frescoes or views over Santo Spirito. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, suited to stays of a few days or a few weeks. Shared spaces include a library, a playroom with a billiards table, a gym and a shaded patio full of greenery. At sunset the terrace looks across Santo Spirito to the Pitti Palace, a natural spot for a Negroni, the cocktail invented in Florence. Hotel services come included: butler, housekeeper and concierge, with a private chef on request, or produce from the Santo Spirito market for guests who prefer to cook.
