KüçükÇiftlik Park
In Harbiye, at the centre of the city, KüçükÇiftlik Park has been an entertainment ground since 1965, now staging big-name concerts, DJ sets and food and seasonal festivals on a large outdoor site.
The story
The programme leans heavily on live music, from Turkish acts such as Hayko Cepkin, Şebnem Ferah and Büyük Ev Ablukada to international names including Manowar, Megadeth and Halsey, alongside DJ-led days like Sunday Best. The site has a large capacity, has been renovated and is laid out with plenty of bars and food points around the stage. Beyond concerts, the calendar fills with themed gatherings: Oktober in Istanbul over several days, Grill İstanbul, a coffee festival, a Black Sea food celebration and a Christmas Market around New Year with rides such as ice skating and bumper cars. Summer events are a highlight, and despite its central location the park feels like a break from the city's pace for a few hours.
