The story
This Doha hotel is in the middle of a transition from Abesq to Kimpton, and its rooms have been refurbished with a fresh, contemporary look, many with views over the city. Breakfast is a centrepiece, with a dedicated egg menu, a spread varied enough to try something different each day, and a newly introduced juice bar. The rooftop pool looks out over the Doha skyline and is at its best at night. Sprezzi, the in-house restaurant, has live music on selected evenings, while the spa offers a sauna, massages and a hammam body scrub. The hotel also hosts business events, with function space set up for training programmes of around 100 people.
