The story
The name says much of it: hata is the Ukrainian word for a house, and this holiday rental in Derev'yana, Kyiv Oblast, is a fairly authentic one. It is a country home rather than a polished apartment, and its appeal depends on how much a guest enjoys that kind of stay. The house sits on its own grounds, with a yard outside. It suits travellers who already know they like an authentic country house and want to experience one firsthand instead of booking a conventional hotel room.
