Frieze

Frieze is the London arts organisation behind Frieze London and Frieze Masters, the art fairs that take over The Regent's Park each October, alongside outdoor works in the park's English Gardens.

The story

Besides its London events, Frieze runs Frieze Abu Dhabi. In London, Frieze London and Frieze Masters share their dates at The Regent's Park, backed by a programme, a fair map and the online Frieze Viewing Room. Frieze London gathers contemporary art from around the world, and its curated section, supported by Tiffany & Co., invites influential artists to take part. Frieze Sculpture sets outdoor works in the English Gardens for weeks around the fairs, while London Gallery Walks carry Frieze Week out into the city. Co-founders Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover also started Toklas, a restaurant and bar in the same building, where creativity shows on and off the plate and the fresh Mediterranean menu changes weekly. Toklas Bakery next door serves pastries, coffee and fresh bread for a quicker stop.
