Fira de Barcelona

Fira de Barcelona's Montjuïc grounds offer 150,000 square metres of exhibition space, hosting fairs from Comic Barcelona and Barcelona Wine Week to Automobile Barcelona and the city's bridal fashion week.

The story

The Montjuïc site is one of three venues run by Fira de Barcelona, which calls itself Europe's leading trade fair organisation. The other two are Gran Via and the CCIB. The halls here are large, clean and well ventilated, with good fresh air even when an event is in full swing. The calendar is varied. Comic Barcelona, Barcelona Wine Week, Automobile Barcelona and Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week all take place here, and the Festival de la Infància fills the halls at the end of December. Education and careers fairs such as the Saló de l'Ensenyament and Saló de l'Ocupació also come to Montjuïc. Trade events such as Souvenir Expo Spain, Talent Arena, B-Travel and Advanced Maritime Technology round out the year.

Good to know

TAGGG AI
  • Take the metro to Plaça d'Espanya, which is just a short walk from the entrance.
  • The halls are large, so wear comfortable shoes if you plan to cover a whole exhibition.
  • Food is sold inside, but the cafés nearby are often better value for a meal break.
