Spacious exhibition halls in Diriyah host the Diriyah Biennale's mix of local and global contemporary art, along with other cultural shows, workshops and seasonal events, with cafes and restaurants just outside.
The story
The foundation's galleries are spacious, calm and easy to navigate. Its Biennale exhibitions, including the 2026 edition, bring together artworks by local and international artists. Assistants stationed in each hall explain the artists and their works, which makes contemporary art approachable even for newcomers. The halls also host other cultural exhibitions, such as a show on NEOM built around a detailed 3D model of The Line. Beyond the galleries, the grounds hold workshops, art installations, and cafes and restaurants for a pause after an exhibition. The Design Store sells merchandise and objects designed by local and international artists. Seasonal programming adds to the mix: a food market filled the courtyard during Ramadan, and children's activities and an outdoor walking area were set up for Eid.
