The story

Thirty years after it arrived, Delano reopened in late 2025 with a renovation that honours the spirit of the original South Beach icon. Light-filled rooms and suites sit alongside signature penthouses and the returning poolside bungalows, which spread across two floors above the famed pool. A path beyond the pool leads onto the oceanfront boardwalk used by runners, cyclists and rollerbladers. Gigi Rigolatto, known from Paris, St. Tropez and Rome, serves coastal Italian food with poolside and beachside spaces and a Bellini bar, while Gigi Beach brings sun-loungers to the sand. Mimi Kakushi mixes modern Japanese cooking with Western influences for members and hotel guests. Guided wellness classes run on the beachfront and in a fitness studio, there is a private gym, and a members club occupies the fourth floor with its own pool.
