Dean's Steak & Seafood Indianapolis
Tableside baked Alaska, a raw bar heavy on oysters and a signature Delmonico ribeye define this dark, moody downtown Indianapolis steakhouse, built for special occasions with prime steaks, fresh seafood and handcrafted cocktails.
The story
Dean's Steak & Seafood bills itself as a searing legacy in every cut, and the dinner menu backs that up with prime steaks, Wagyu cuts including a tomahawk, and a raw bar of East and West Coast oysters, king crab and the Petite Plateau seafood platter. Beyond beef there is salmon wellington, sea bass, honey truffle chicken and langostino served escargot style, with the Billionaire's Potato a favourite side. Some dishes are finished in front of you: lobster bisque and baked Alaska are both prepared at the table, while Grandma's bread pudding and key lime pie offer quieter endings. The dining room is dark and moody, the bar cosy with elegant touches, and Whiskey Row hosts private gatherings. Much of the menu is gluten-free, and several dishes can be adjusted for vegetarians.
