The story
Business Hub sets out to help micro and small businesses grow through consulting, skills development and a community of like-minded people. In a new, clean building, it offers coworking desks, offices for teams, a one-day office option, fast internet, a kitchen stocked with tea and coffee, skype booths and a print point. Those weighing up a desk can try it on a free four-hour test drive. For gatherings there are meeting rooms and a 38-square-metre event room, arranged to order and equipped with a projector, clicker and flipchart, which works well for lectures. Beyond the workspace, the hub handles accounting, business consulting and a virtual office with a registered legal address and mail handling. Pets are welcome, and the courtyard, home to the Black Honey coffee shop, makes a good spot for breaks.
